Local Rules Lawyers' Advisory Committee Solicits Proposals for New or Revised Local Rules
The Local Rules Lawyers' Advisory Committee invites interested parties, including members of the Bar and court employees, to submit their suggestions, comments, and proposals for proposed new Local Rules or revisions to our current Local Rules. Suggestions should be submitted no later than September 30, 2014. You may click HERE to submit recommendations to the committee.
Proposed Rule Amendments Published for Public Comment - August 15, 2014
The Judicial Conference Advisory Committees on Bankruptcy and Civil Rules have proposed amendments to their respective rules and forms, and requested that the proposals be circulated to the bench, bar, and public for comment. New Administrative Order Requiring Photo Identification by Unrepresented Parties
Effective September 1, 2014, every unrepresented party, including debtors wishing to file a voluntary bankruptcy petition and petitioning creditors wishing to file an involuntary petition in any division of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida, must provide acceptable photo identification at the time of filing.
